Lauriston Muirhead has lived in the Albury community for more than
30 years where he works as an Environmental Health Officer.
Lauriston understands the pressures our local families face.
Lauriston will fight to make sure our communities get their fair
share and will fight to invest in schools and hospitals instead of
splurging $2.2 billion on perfectly good Sydney stadiums.
As a local environmental activist, Lauriston has fought to protect our
beautiful area. He knows that climate change will affect our way of
life for generations to come and that action is needed now.
Lauriston will deliver real action on climate change by investing in
renewable energy to protect our quality of life into the future.
Our community has been neglected by the Liberals. Lauriston
Muirhead will be a strong voice and will:
Increase funding for our schools and TAFEs, instead of splurging
$2.2 billion rebuilding perfectly good stadiums in Sydney;
Invest in renewable energy and take real action on climate change;
Defend local health services from further cuts and privatisation by
the Liberal Government;
Fight for regional jobs and a strong local economy that values and
supports working families; and
Ease the cost of living for local families by re-regulating electricity.
